Freddie Burman

Freddie was born in El Paso, Texas on September 27, 1955 and lived there until he moved to Augusta in 1991. Freddie was a full time mechanic and Pastored full time at Augusta’s Cornerstone. God chose Freddie and anointed him to spread the “Good News of The Gospel” with boldness, never wavering in his beliefs until The Lord took him home. He stood firmly on The Word of God and every Promise was “Yes and Amen.” Freddie didn’t just know about God, he knew Him and was always thankful for God’s Mercy and Grace in his life. Living for his God was truly his Passion above everything else and he lived each and every day sharing his love for God to everyone and anyone that would listen. People were drawn to him because they saw Jesus in Him. He gave freely to anyone who needed anything and was there for all, he cried with those who needed it and He rejoiced with those in need of it. He said he was the richest man on earth because he had Jesus. He never put himself first but always made sure his wife and family had everything they needed. May Freddie’s legacy live on through the lives of those who met him. God used him to make a difference in a world that needed to know that God loved them no matter what they had done or where they had been. Freddie always said his desire was to one day look upon The Face of God and hear the words “Well Done Good and Faithful Servant.” Praise be to God Freddie has received his desire.

Freddie was preceded in death by his parents; Don Burman and Betty Burman (Feidner). He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Burman; sons, Freddie Burman Jr.(LaShanda), Mike Burman (Vilma) and Matthew Burman (Zambreale); brothers, Bob Burman (Dianne), B.Don Burman (Debra); sister, Sharon Bidwell(Alex); brother-in-law, Gilbert Jones; grandchildren, Matthew Burman Jr., Nicholas, Dominik, Noelle, Micaela, Kendall, Jax, Xander and Eli; along with aunt, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The Family will receive friends at Elliott and Sons Funeral Home at 2524 Lumpkin Rd. Augusta Ga 30906 on Friday, February 4th from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 5th at Augusta’s Cornerstone Assembly at 4301 Windsor Spring Rd, Hephzibah Ga 30815 at 11AM with Reverend John Davis officiating. Pall Bearers who will honor Mr. Burman are, Freddie Burman Jr, Mike Burman, Matthew Burman, Matthew Burman Jr., Bob Burman and B. Don Burman.
