Augusta, Georgia-Gennie Edith Sanders entered into rest December 16, 2010.

Funeral services will be held 3PM Sunday, December 19, 2010, at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, Georgia. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers are Brian Strickland, Corey Poythress, Kenny Sanders, Ronnie Cawthon, Brian Poythress and Jordan Poythress.

Mrs. Sanders was preceded in death by her husband, K. Z. Sanders; sister, Florence White; step-mother, Ruby White; half-brother, Jesse Lott; sister, Sara Hudgins; brothers, Jim White, Charles White, and Ernest White; and grandchildren, Jimmy Cornelison and Kimberly Sanders.

Survivors include daughters, Judy (Royce) Anderson, Wanda (Mike) Hollis, and Betty Jean Cornelison;

son, Charles (Cynthia) Sanders; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; half-brother, Wilton White; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 18, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, Georgia.
