Illa Jean Cliett

Mrs. Cliett was known for quilting and her passion for gardening. She was a member of the Gem Society. Mrs. Cliett was also a member of Windsor Spring Baptist Church.

Mrs. Cliett is preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Calvin Cliett Sr.; and granddaughter, Stephanie Deziel. Survivors include her children, Brenda Miles Cliett Threatt, J. Marilyn Cliett, Thomas Calvin Cliett Jr. (Kathy), and Marion “Mickey” Felton Cliett; grandchildren, M. Kaye Nine (Paul), Cynthia Slagle, Sarah Winn (Jeff), Thomas Cliett III (Valentine), Joseph Cliett (Jimi), Michael Moore and Dawn Moore; 11 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Lumpkin Road. Funeral services will be held at 3PM Friday, June 10, 2016, at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
