Mr. Bajcsi was born in Mezotur, Hungary and later moved to Pittsburgh, PA and then to California where he met his wife and joined the United States Military retiring as a MSG/E8. While serving in the military he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, and the Good Conduct Medal. He served two tours in Vietnam and also in the Hungarian Revolutionary War. He adored his family and was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather to his family. He loved talking to people and had a wonderful personality.
Mr. Bajcsi is preceded in death by his loving wife, Peggy Ann Bajcsi; and granddaughter, Christina Stonier. Survivors include his children, Imre Edward Bajcsi (Angeleque) and Grace Estezer Bajcsi; grandchildren, MiAsia Goldsmith (Adrian), Zeta Ann Bajcsi and Andrea Stonier; and great-granddaughter, Miracle.
Funeral services will be held at 12pm, on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home.
