Joella M M Bush

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Joella Jo Bush, of Augusta, passed away Monday, August 22, 2011 on her 86th birthday. Mrs. Bush was born in Ridgecrest, North Carolina. Mrs. Bush is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, John A. Bush; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Elda McFalls; two brothers, two sisters and two half-brothers; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 - 8 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held 3 PM, Thursday, August 25, 2011 in the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Moore officiating. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Wright Perdue, Mike Pollard, David Owens, Steven Cumbee, Rodney Smith and Jeff Smith. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer's Association , 1899 Central Avenue, Augusta, Georgia 30901. Mr. Bush extends his sincere gratitude to Donna Graham and Betty Ann Boatwright for the care and love shown to Jo during her illness.
