Lenna Josey Snead Green

Lenna was born in Greenwood, SC. She retired after 30 years as a Medical Technologist at University Hospital Blood Bank in Augusta. She attended Greenwood High School and Lander College.

Lenna is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Donald Green Sr.; and her parents, Lenna Josey and James Kirby.

Lenna is survived by daughters, Julia Wells Green, Laura Ann Riska (Charles), and son Edward Donald Green Jr. (Renee), all of Augusta; sister, Julie Snead Johnson (David) of Columbia, SC; brother, James Kirby Snead Jr. (Ann Scott) of Greenwood, SC; and nine grandchildren, William Edward Green, Lenna Josey Green, Erin Elizabeth Wade, Brittany Snead Riska, Edward Daniel Riska, Joshua Ryan Riska, Blake Lee Green, Michael Shane Green, and Alexander Cole Green.

The family can receive friends Wednesday, March 18, 2015, from 1-3pm. A memorial service will follow in the Lumpkin Road Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choosing. The family will also receive friends at the residence of Laura and Charles Riska. Directions will be given as needed.
