Luz N. Andert

Luz was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico to her loving parents Luis and Maria Arocho. After following her husband's military career, they settled down in Augusta, Georgia.

She loved to sew quilts and donate them to the local church. She was very involved in the churches children’s ministry. Luz enjoyed fashion and cooking.

She is survived by her loving husband Francis Andert; her two sons, Mike Andert of Payette, Idaho and Charles Andert of Spokane, Washington; Her sisters, Elba I. Almodovar of Augusta, Georgia, Victoria Pape of Payette, Idaho and Maria C. Crawford of Washington, North Carolina; her brother, Luis Archo of Augusta, Georgia and one grandchild Ryker. She left behind family and friends who she loved dearly.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 14 from 5:00-7:00pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home 2524 Lumpkin Road Augusta, GA for visitation. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 15, 2022 at 11:00am. Followed by the internment at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Road.
