Maria DePasquale Schmitz

Ms. Maria was an active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of Augusta, GA.

Ms. Maria is preceded in death by her loving husband, Francis Joseph Schmitz, and daughter, Barbara Grasser. Survivors include her son, Francis Schmitz (Maggi); daughters, Rosanna Bertheola (Jeff) and Gina Randall (Mark); granddaughter, Jennifer Schmitz; son-in-law, Skip Grasser; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family in Italy and Australia who loved her dearly.

The family will receive friends at 12pm, Saturday, July 2, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Saturday, July 2, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 2607 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, GA 30906. Interment will be private at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
