Mary is survived by her children, Alicia Crawford (Charles Crawford) Rebecca Blair and stepdaughter Janie Osborne (Sam Osborne); grandchildren Heather Delawter (Shon Delawter), Bailie Fletcher (Shawn Fletcher), Megan Blair, Morgan Blair, Colby Crawford and Chelsea Crawford; siblings Patricia Clark, Margaret Bowen, and Elaine Tietjen; 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and a nephew. Preceding her in death are her husband, Joseph Talton Mathis; parents Thurmon and Kathleen Collins; and sister Virginia Willard.
A viewing will be held Monday, September 14, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road, Augusta, GA. Funeral services will be held graveside at Westview Cemetery at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
