Nelson Ramsbotham, 74, husband of Joyce Guy Ramsbotham, entered into rest on July 26, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at First Christian Church, 629 Greene Street, Augusta 30901, with Rev. Keith Weekley and Rev. Dr. Jack Snellgrove officiating.
Mr. Ramsbotham retired from Augusta Newsprint after 42 years of service. He was an active member of First Christian Church for 25 years, where he served as Assistant Board Director, Sound Director, and Youth Department Program Head.
Additional survivors include his children Kimberly Masters, Jeff (Leslie) Ramsbotham, Wendy Moore, Trey Deaner; grandchildren Haley Schlein, Brad Ramsbotham, Blaze Ramsbotham, and Colby Masters; and great grandchildren Kamryn Schlein and Luke Schlein.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, from 7-8:30 PM at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church Youth Department, 629 Greene Street, Augusta GA 30901.
