Patricia M. Moore

Augusta, Georgia – Patricia Mowry Moore, 60, entered into rest on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, February 18, 2010 in the Telfair St. Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating. Mrs. Moore will be conveyed to Columbus, Georgia for entombment at Parkhill Cemetery in The Chapel of the Pines Mausoleum on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 3:00 PM with Pastor David Rathel officiating. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband Philipp B. Moore, her daughter, Emily Suzanne Moore, parents, Donald and Suzanne Mowry, Alvis L. “Rusty” and Mildred Rustin and beloved in-laws, Margaret C. and Belmont Moore.

Patricia was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her extended family of co-workers at Stein Mart. She had a passion for creating a lovely environment and enjoying nature which was exhibited with her flair for decorating, gardening and bird watching. She will be remembered for her lovely and constant smile.

She is survived by her daughter, Molly Moore Atkins, Martinez; son, Philipp B. Moore, II, Augusta; grandchildren, Nicholas Moore, Bailey Evans and Emily Atkins; brothers, Jeff (Patty) Mowry, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Steven (Melody) Mowry, Seattle, Washington, John (Julia) Mowry, Danbury, Connecticut, Rick Mowry, Fr. Lauderdale, Florida; Rusty (Colleen) Rustin, Columbus, Georgia; brother-in-law, Chris Moore, Atlanta, Georgia and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 1134 Telfair St., Augusta, Georgia.
