Peggy Green Moore

Mrs. Peggy Green Moore, 83, a lifelong resident of North Augusta, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015. She enjoyed working in her yard, gardening and shopping. In the past, she colored old military photos for Fort Gordon. Peggy loved her family and enjoyed every moment with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Lona Mae Green; husband, Millard Moore, Sr.; and sister, Louise Johnson.

She is survived by her children, Debbie Leopard, Chris McGee and Richard (Cheryl) Moore, Jr.; seven grandchildren, Angie Hancock, Jon (Deana) Leopard, Jamie (Shawn) Anderson, Tillman Williams, Robbie (Gail) Leopard, Michelle (John) Edwards and Stephanie Moore; and ten great-grandchildren, Zack Anderson, Caleb Hancock, Maddy Anderson, Joshua Hancock, Tyler Leopard, Jeremiah Hancock, Trent Leopard, Nolan Anderson, Landon Leopard and Dominic Edwards.

Funeral Services will be held 3 PM, Friday, April 24, 2015 in the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
