October 18, 1952 – September 27, 2026
With heavy hearts, we share the loss of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Ralph C. Dailey, who passed away peacefully on September 27, 2026.
Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Army, retiring as a Sergeant First Class (SFC), E-7. His years of service were an important part of his life, and he carried on the discipline, strength, and sense of duty he learned in the Army with him long after his retirement.
To those who knew him best, Ralph was a quiet, steady presence. He did not always have a lot to say, but you could count on him to be there when you needed him. He showed his love in simple ways—by helping, listening, and caring for the people who mattered most to him.
His greatest role, however, was being a father and grandfather. Ralph is survived by his daughters, Christine Dailey-Ortalaza and Charlene Riley; sons-in-law, Nick Ortalaza and Chad Riley; grandsons, Johnny Lopez, Nicholas Ortalaza, and Finnegan Riley; and sister, Angela Wright, along with extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Hye Yon Dailey; his parents, Ola Mae Wright and Paul Wright; and his brothers, Barry Dailey and Bud Dailey.
There will be an empty place in our family that cannot be filled. We will miss our dad’s presence, his quiet ways, and the comfort of knowing he was always there. We are grateful for the time we had with him and for the memories we will carry in our hearts.
Rest peacefully, Dad. You were loved, you are missed, and you will always be a part of us.
