AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Kelly Simpson entered into rest on Saturday, May 14, 2016.Kelly enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing poker on his phone. He was formerly employed by Milton Ruben for 23 years. He currently worked at Kia of Evans. He was a member of McBean Baptist Church of Waynesboro, GA. It gave Kelly great joy to be able to spend time with his family.Survivors include his loving wife, Melinda Simpson; children, Kevin Simpson (TreyLynne) and Heather Gay; parents, Tommy "Buddy" and Carlene Simpson; brother, Tommy Simpson (Maria) Jr.; brother-in-law, George Bales (Pam); nephews, Allen and Dylan Simpson; niece, Shelby Simpson; step-nieces, Maggie and Bailee Bales; mother and father-in-law, Pat and Eddie Williams; and granddaughter, Mia Simpson. A memorial service will be held at 7pm on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Toby Rowell officiating.
