Mrs. Ruby Ann DeLong Bain, 80, of Augusta, Georgia passed away Monday, September 6, 2010.
Mrs. Ruby loved hunting, fishing and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always looked for an opportunity to help and befriend anyone in need.
Mrs. Bain will be dearly missed by her daughter, Karen Rowell; two sons and daughter-in-law, Robert “Mike” DeLong and Jed and Frances DeLong; four grandsons and spouses, John Rowell, James and Cindy Rowell, Jed and Beth DeLong,III, Jesse and Allison Rowell; four great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Aubrey, AJ and Tre’; two sisters, Eva Ankrom and Theda Faye Bishop; and one brother, Troy Overby.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be held 11 AM, Thursday in the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
