Samuel faithfully served his country in the United States Army for over 20 years were he proudly retired from. He also retired from the Medical College of Georgia where he was a Radiologist Engineer. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, hunting and fixing any and everything.
Samuel was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ethel DeMarcus; and his siblings, Raymond, James, Bill, Donnie, Betty Walker and Norma Harris. He is survived by his children, Jully, Samuel, Claudia, and Marie. His sisters Elinor Berlin and Shirly Tucci and; his grandchildren Barry and Evan and other grandchildren out of state. , as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Elliott’s Funeral Home on Lumpkin Road from 6 pm to 8 pm August 12, 2022. Services will be at Elliott’s Funeral Home Chapel on Lumpkin Road at 12:00 on August 13, 2022, officiated by Chaplain Race Lariscy, followed by full military funeral honors at Hillcrest Cemetery
