

Twann Lajune Taylor was born on October 18, 1971, in Augusta, Georgia, to Karolyn Taylor and the late Otis Taylor. On March 21, 2026, Twann peacefully transitioned at his home, surrounded by the love of his family and friends.
A lifelong resident of Augusta, Twann received his early education at Laney High School before transferring to Richmond Academy, where he graduated with the Class of 1989. He was a hardworking and dedicated man who spent eight years employed with Morgan Industrial and later devoted many years to working in care home facilities with Serenity, touching countless lives with his compassion and commitment.
Twann was known for his vibrant personality and love for life. He had a deep passion for cars and dogs and took great pride in his fashion and personal style. Always well-dressed and sharp, Twann enjoyed dressing up and spending quality time with family and friends. His presence brought joy, laughter, and warmth to all who knew him.
In February 2025, Twann was diagnosed with cancer. Throughout his journey, he faced his illness alongside his loving wife, Qiana, with remarkable strength, grace, and resilience. He endured treatments with courage and fought a good fight. Though he battled bravely, God called him home, granting him eternal rest and peace.
Twann leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Qiana Taylor; his mother, Karolyn Taylor; his children, Twann Taylor Jr. (devoted, with Jetamia Taylor), Janae McKinney (devoted), Brianna Taylor, Saqwann Taylor, Zhane Tate, Jada Taylor, Tiarra Jones, Zion McIntosh (devoted), and Zarek McIntosh (Jasmine); siblings, Timothy Taylor and Carolyn Winford; his beloved cousin, Christal Heggs; and his best friend, Terrence “Shug” Newsome. He also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
The family extends their sincere gratitude for the many calls, texts, prayers, and expressions of love during this difficult time. They kindly ask for continued prayers, comfort, and understanding as they navigate this profound loss.
Twann’s legacy of love, strength, and style will live on in all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, GA 30906, US, on March 26, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, GA 30906, US, on March 27, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Followed by interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
