Mrs. Ledoux was born to the late Thomas and Mae Bell O'Neal in Rockingham, NC. She owned her own Micrographic business working with microfilm in Augusta. Mrs. Ledoux also worked as a seamstress and was one of the best Taylor’s in the area. She could sew or design anything without any type of pattern. She was an amazing cook and made the World’s best biscuits. Mrs. Ledoux was a devoted Christian and was a strong provider for her family. She loved making people laugh and had a genuine sense of humor. She was a loving wife, mother, and great-grandmother to her family. She was a leader and pillar of strength and never turned her back on anyone in need.
Mrs. Ledoux is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond David Ledoux; son, Gary Ledoux; and granddaughter, Sara Brooke Sims. Survivors include her children, Denise Ledoux Sims, Phillip Ledoux, Patricia Ledoux Atkinson (Randy), Cindy Ledoux (Joe Harbuck) and Gwen Ledoux Brown (John); 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:30-8pm on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Lumpkin Road. Funeral services will be held at 3pm on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
