Y'vonne Miller

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Y'vonne Vonnie Hollenbeck Miller age 87, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012. Y'vonne was born in Great Bend, Kansas and has been a longtime resident of Augusta since the early forties. She worked at Cullum's Department Store as a bookkeeper in the 1960s and at Key Wholesalers in the 1970s and 80s. Y'vonne was a longtime member of Walton Way Temple where she was president of the Sisterhood in the 1960s. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles Cecil Hollenbeck and Gladia Canfield; husband, Julius Miller; and son, Randall Hugh Miller. She is survived by her daughters, Terri Miller Rakusin, Susan Miller Kaplan and a son, Irving Miller; and granddaughters, Stacy Kaplan Goldberg, Robin Rakusin, Rachel Rakusin, Brittany Miller; and grandsons, Zachary Jules Miller, Chuck Ryan Kaplan, David Miller, Scott Miller; great-grandchildren, Anna Goldberg, Kate Goldberg, Hallie Kaplan; Jonah Kaplan, Matthew Goldberg, Layla Miller, and Micael Miller. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday May 22, 2012 at Westover Memorial Park with Rabbi Ronald Gerson.
