Alice Olive Roybal age 96 went to be with the Lord on March 8, 2017 in Littleton, CO. She was born in Questa, NM in 1920 on October 25th according to family records, but on the 24th according to her birth certificate. Alice moved to Denver in 1944 and worked to raise her five children. That is when she met her late husband Joe Roybal. They got married in October of 1962 and were married for 46 years.
Alice’s children are Lucy Duarte, Delores Martinez, Robert Martinez (Loraine), Martha Martinez (deceased) and Pauline Roybal. She has 22 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, 29 great-great grandchildren and 2 great-great-great grandchildren on the way.
One of her favorite sayings was, “This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
