Annabelle Buckman

Annabelle Buckman, a devoted wife, caring mother, and proud grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2025, at the age of 87. Born in Hanna, Wyoming, on January 22, 1938, she lived a life shaped by quiet resilience, generosity, and an unmistakable sense of humor that brightened any room.

On November 19, 1957, she married her beloved husband, Charles Buckman. Their marriage of 53 years was marked by deep companionship and countless treasured memories, until Charles’s passing in November 2010.

Annabelle is survived by her children Tanya (Mike) Donnellon, Chuck (Andie) Buckman, and Tina (Rick) Spence. She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren and great-grandmother to nine, whose lives she touched with her warmth and unwavering support.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two siblings, her loving husband Charles, and her son Burt Buckman. Though their absence was deeply felt, she carried their memory with grace and love throughout her life.

Annabelle will be remembered for her wit, her warmth, and the way she could turn any ordinary moment into one worth remembering. Her legacy lives on in the laughter she inspired and the lives she touched.

A funeral service for Annabelle will be held Monday, July 7, 2025 at 1:30 PM at Mountain View Fellowship, 1955 Headlight Rd, Strasburg, CO 80136. Following the funeral service will be a committal service at 2:30 PM at Mount View Cemetery, 3724 Kiowa-Bennett Rd, Bennett, CO 80102.
