She died one day from her 84th birthday on the 18th.
She was born in Texas in 1939, moved to Colorado in 1957 to serve in the U.S Airforce, where she fell in love with William Freier at Lowry Air Force Base. Years later she joined the Army National Guard - Mash Unit.
Barbara worked in the insurance industry as a secretary. She was crowned the fastest typist in her office.
Barbara is survived by her children: Patti (Jeff), Bill (Duma), Wes (Judy). Grandchildren: Matt (Michelle), Amie, Hollie, Jondelle (Shannon), Misti, Ben, Sierra. Great-grandkids: Kyleigh, Maleigha, Connor, Liam, Ella, Emma, Emily. Her siblings in Texas: Walter, Judy (daughter Martha), Eileen (son Matthew).
Barbara is preceded in death by both parents: Bedford and Jean Watson; and her husband Bill Freier.
