Effie, better known as “Sue,” received her education in Amarillo, modeling school in Chicago. She also attended nursing school in Amarillo; where she became CPA due to a car accident in 1979.
As a young girl she accepted Christ as her personal savior. Sue had some rough roads and hard mountains to climb but she truly loved God.
She was united in holy matrimony to Brian J. Hill on June 27, 1995. They had one daughter Brynesha, who Effie loves very much.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband Brian Hill; one daughter Brynecha of York Town, Pennsylvania; two brothers James (Willa) Sterling of Lawton, Oklahoma and Gary (Cyn) of Aurora; two sisters Lillian O’Neal of Denver and Clara Sterling of Aurora; four brother-in-laws, three sister-in-laws, and a loving aunt all of York Town, Pennsylvania; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Sue was preceded in death by: her parents, Rufus and Gladys; one brother Jerry; and two sisters Nonia Scales and May Mosee.
