She was born on April 24, 1941 in Proctor, Colorado, the fourth of nine children to Fred and Lela Constance. She grew up in Eastern Colorado, graduating from Iliff High School, class of 1959, where she received a joint honor scholarship. After moving to Aurora she attended business school and held various clerical positions. In 1972 she hired on at the NAPA Warehouse in Thornton, Colorado where she worked for 28 years, retiring in 2000.
Emily was incredibly generous. She loved animals, enjoyed gardening and cooking, and never missed a NASCAR event on T.V.
Emily was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Donna. She is survived by her sons Larry, Robert, Gregory, and Scott; sisters Janet, Anita, and Madeline; brothers Arnold, Ronald, Charles, and Leon; and four grandchildren Sammie, Heidi, Erica, and Audrey. She will be dearly missed.
