Affectionately known as Jimmy, he had a lifelong illness which limited his ability to do certain things, but that never really stopped him. He loved to read and build puzzles.
James is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Jim Amarine in 2011, and his mother Carolyn in 2026. He is survived by his sisters, Linda and Debby, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
