Jean Irene Schuchard

Colorado.

Jean was born October 19, 1927 to Alfred and Helen Pretzer in the township of

Elgin, Minnesota. After graduating from Elgin High School she was employed at

Olmsted County Bank in Rochester, MN. She was married to Robert E. Schuchard

on March 29, 1948.

In 1957 they moved to Denver, Colorado to raise their family near the Rocky

Mountains. Jean was a wonderful cook, loved entertaining and playing Bridge and

other card games. She and her family were active in the Colorado outdoors,

camping, fishing and hunting. Jean also worked as a secretary for a Law firm for

several years.

In 1979, she and her husband moved to Port Charlotte, Florida where they lived

until her husbandʼs death in 1984. She returned to Colorado and lived in Arvada

until 2016. Jean lived out the remainder of her life at Garden Terrace Memory

Care in Aurora, Colorado.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband Robert Schuchard, a brother Robert

Pretzer, a sister Valor McGowan, and a grand daughter Tiffany Schuchard. She is

survived by 3 children - Victoria Dexter (Clint), Robert Schuchard (Pattie), and

Michael Schuchard (Jerry), 7 grandchildren - Jen, Krisy, Sarah, Ben, Brad, Kim and

Kayla, 9 great grandchildren - Ian, Maddie, Abby, Chloe, Vanessa, Ava, Melia,

Brooklyn, and Ava. She is also survived by 2 sisters - Kathryn Ahmann (John) and

Susan Langdon.

Jean will be laid to rest with her husband at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Denver,

Colorado.
