Jeffrey Keeve, 71, of Aurora, passed away on March 29, 2024 from complications of cancer. He was born in New York in 1953, grew up in California, and enlisted in the United States Air Force. While enlisted, he was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. He placed his roots in Colorado and started a family.
Jeff had a tender and caring approach when it came to his children and grandchildren. He was a source of wisdom and guidance. He was very charismatic, and he could carry on a conversation with complete strangers and make them laugh.
He recently retired from RTD as a bus driver. After retirement, Jeff caught up on all the latest shows and movies. He was always happy to spend time with the family, whether it was a simple conversation at the house or going out for a holiday. Jeff loved music, ham radio, red vines, and hot tamales.
Jeff is survived by his wife of 24 years, Patti; son, Benjamin (Deanna); daughters, Sierra, Amie and Hollie; grandchildren, Kyleigh, Maleigha, and JJ; in laws, Wes and Judy; Billy and Duma; brothers, Bob and Billy; and numerous extended family members in California, including the Dudley and DeWitt families. He is preceded in death by his mother, Nadine, and Callie Mae who raised Jeff.
A viewing will occur on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 10AM to 11AM, followed by a funeral service at 11AM, both at Advantage Aurora Chase Mortuary. Jeffrey will be buried on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 1PM at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
