OBITUARY
Kathryn Elaine Meyer
April 10, 1941 – January 3, 2021
A beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away on January 3, 2020. Her name was Kathryn Elaine (Hoskins) Meyer and she was 79 years old. Kathryn was born in Natoma, Kansas in April of 1941 to Wilfred and Winifred (Neusbaum) Hoskins. She was a sister to nine siblings. She attended and graduated from Natoma High School and moved to Colorado. She fell in love with one Richard William Meyer, and on August 26, 1967 they were married. Together Richard and Kathryn raised their children, Tim and Tracy on the farm in Bennett. Kathryn was known for caring for her husband and children, while also caring for their farm. She loved to bake delishious meals and treats for her family; garden all kinds of different items, read when she could, and spend time with her family and friends. Over the years Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Alan and Gerald Hoskins; and her husband Richard in 2009. She leaves behind her children, Timothy Meyer (Dawn France), and Tracy (John) Biddulph; grandchildren, Meghan Meyer, Matthew, Sarah, and Emily Biddulph; siblings, Donna Raye Hoskins, Gary (Maby) Hoskins, Carol Ann (Doug) Bradshaw, Jon (Laura) Hoskins, Gavin (Laura) Hoskins, Myron Eugene Hoskins, and Ronald (Emma) Hoskins. She is also survived by 28 nieces and nephews, and many friends and family. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 9th at 10AM at Advantage Aurora Chase Chapel in Aurora, Colorado. Kathryn will be laid to rest at Mount View Cemetery in Bennett, Colorado. In lieu of flowers Kathryn’s family requests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601. Kathryn will be dearly and deeply missed.

Kathy and I got to be pretty good friends during my frequent fresh egg pickups. We always teased each other about being crazy cat ladies....lol. She always took the opportunity to tell me how proud she was of her kids and raved about those grandbabies!! Such a sweetheart!!
