Larry Jay Woodard, a proud veteran of the United States Navy, passed away January 13, 2021 from COVID. He was born November 27, 1950 in Memphis, Texas and grew up in New Mexico. At the age of 19, Larry enlisted in the Navy. He valued this service highly as a pilot in the Vietnam War. After serving in the Navy, he came home and worked with the Department of Agriculture, Department of Interior, Department of Justice, Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Army.
Larry Jay Woodard married Trudydee McGuffin Woodard on November 27, 2001, who unfortunately passed away on September 28, 2022.
His loved ones remember Larry for his loyalty to his service to our country and his devotion to his wife. A service honoring the life of Larry Jay Woodard will be held October 25, 2022 at the Fort Logan National Cemetery where he will be given full honors for his service to our nation and laid to rest with his wife.
