Leon Charles Eckart was born to Charles Herman Eckart and Nadya Eckart (Izmailov) on November 2nd, 1962 in Oroville, CA. He grew up in different towns throughout the United States and Canada and went to high school in Reno, Nevada. Leon was a professional rental car manager and insurance salesman. He married his wife of 31 years, Barbara on Lake Tahoe. Leon loved to read, listen to music, and root for the Dodgers.
Leon is preceded by his father Charles Eckart. Leon is survived by his Wife Barbara Jann Eckart (Hattrup); sons Andy Charles Eckart & Robert Leon Eckart; Mother Nadya Eckart; Sister Ellen (Paul Gammel); Brother Carl Eckart; 4 Nephews and 3 Nieces.
A remembrance ceremony will be held in October in Reno, NV among close family and friends
