Marilyn Rose Meyers was born in Chicago, Illinois to Barbara Jean Mormino and Michael Joseph Mormino. Early in her life she moved to Denver, Colorado with her family to be nearer to her grandmother. She attended Hinkley High School where she met the love of her life, Jeremy John Meyers, Sr. She fell deeply in love, and they were married soon after. Together they had children, Heather, Michael and Jeremy, Jr.
Marilyn was hard headed, but soft hearted. She enjoyed prospecting in the Rockies with her children, and cooking her grandmother's cabbage rolls, Heather's favorite Spaghetti and Michael's favorite lasagna.
Marilyn's health declined after the sudden passing of her husband, Jeremy, Sr. in 2021. Her wish was to leave her earthly heart ache and illness and join her beloved husband in heaven. This year marks their 26th wedding anniversary together, their first together in heaven. On Saturday, March 11, 2023 in the early hours of the morning, Marilyn passed away peacefully in Denver, with her family by her side. She was 44 years old.
Marilyn is survived by her, daughter Heather; her sons, Michael and Jeremy, Jr.; her mother, Barbara; her brothers Adam and Anthony, and her sister Michelle. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Jeremy John Meyers, Sr.; and her father Michael Joseph Mormino.
A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 10am at St. Therese Catholic Church in Aurora, CO.
