Dad I Love You!!
When I'm down and sad
For some reason I usually go to my dad
He always finds a way to cheer me up
His comforting deep voice
And his cheerful happy chuckle
He dries my tears away
And tells me it will all be okay
I'm one of the lucky kids who has a dad
To play baseball with
Or go to father daughter day at girl scouts
My father may be gone soon
So I need to treat him with all my respect
And cherish his presence
All I want him to know is
"Dad I love you!"
