Mary Cecilia Hagedorn

Mary Cecilia Hagedorn (affectionately called “C.C.”) went home to be with the LORD on June 23, 2014. She passed peacefully at home with family by her side. C.C. was born on 01/05/1944 in Albuquerque, NM. She is survived by her Mother Martha Gonzales-Warner, brothers Larry Gonzales (Peggy), Charles Gonzales, her sister Sarah Chevaucher and preceded in death by her brother Ray Gonzales and six children Roger Hagedorn (Terri) Suzanne Knoer, Kelly Casey (Pat), Lisa Hertz, Carla Letendre (David), and Brian Hagedorn (Shannon), 13 Grand Children and 2 Great Grand Children.

C.C. resided most of her life in Denver, Colorado in the historic Baker neighborhood where she cooked and cared for her mother. She previously spent several years in Lakeworth, Florida and in Jackson Hole, Wyoming where she was a cook in a hunting camp, rode motorcycles and snowmobiles and helped build custom homes. C.C. enjoyed horses, sewing, cooking and traveling to New Mexico with her mother to see her extended family and pick up some green chili. She made the best chili!!

C.C. was very positive and happy up until her last day here on earth. C.C. is now enjoying eternal life as promised with family and friends - and I am sure cooking up some fabulous meals. C.C. will be missed by all that knew her and had the opportunity to enjoy life with her. We love you!!
