Mel Carle passed away peacefully on Friday, May 31, 2013 in Centennial, Colorado. He was born on September 7th, 1922 in Loveland, Ohio to Frank & Wilhemina Carle. He was preceeded in death by his beloved son, Byron Carle. He is survived by his loving wife Jean & children; Barbara Loase, Lois Carle, Karen Mason, Colleen Dalrymple, Cameron Carle, Tina Carle, Laura Garrett and Michael Carle. He leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren as well as numerous friends and realitives.
Mel retired from the Air Force after 31 years of service. He also served for the City of Aurora as both Deputy City Manager and City Manager from 1974-1986.
A viewing will be held at Advantage Aurora Chase Mortuary 11:00AM on Wednesday June 5th, 2013. The memorial serivce will also be held on Wednesday June 5th, 2013 at 12:00PM at Advantage Aurora Chase Chapel. He will be interred at Fort Logan National Cemetery
