Born Michalene Ruth Gilligan on April 26, 1949 and entered the gates of eternal life on February 3, 2015. All who knew her knew her as Mickie. She was the daughter of Robert and Ruth Gilligan and the younger sister of Robert Gilligan Jr. all whom are deceased. Mickie was raised in Englewood and attended Englewood schools. She worked at several places including Coors Credit Union and the latest was the State of Colorado. She was a hard working single mother. She was a member of Englewood Elks Ladies Auxiliary and a former member of the American Legion.
Mickie is survived by her partner Howard Cole, daughters, Carrie Crawford and Tiffany Crowley, along with her son- in- law Kevin Crowley, grandchildren Sami, Alex, Teddy and Tala, and a great grandchild Lilly. Also by her sister in life Cheryl Embrey, sister in-laws Sheila Gilligan, Cleo Wells, and Kay Lawrence, in addition to many nieces, nephews, family and friends all who she loved so very much.
