The sun rose on Ms. Michelle Elizabeth Coates on May 19, 1965 in Denver, CO when she was born to Sandra Sullivan and Mollison Ott. Michelle grew up in the Denver area and graduated from East High school. And later received an associate’s degree from CCD. She worked in home health care as a Primary Care Provider for over 20 years, serving many families and building lasting relationships. Michelle was a very spiritual person who knew the Lord. She was a member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church.
GO Bronco’s was one of her sayings, along with “What time is it – 211”. She was always full of life and kept the party going. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, and watching football. Her favorite color was blue, she loved ol’ school R&B, Earth Wind and Fire, and Barry White. She would always joke with the grandbabies and tell them that Lil’ Wayne and Tupac were her babies daddies.
Don’t let her little size fool you, her essence was as mighty as a lion. She will truly be missed by anyone who knew her. She left you no choice but to love her, and if you didn’t then she was sure to let you know that that was your own problem. Michelle celebrated her life and took pride in all the moments she shared with us all.
The sun set on Michelle Elizabeth Coates on Sunday, February 4, 2018. Left to celebrate her memory are six children; Kecia Michelle, Dayna Ott, Mary Ott, Dontae Ott, Amber Ott, and Sophia Ott. Her Brother Mychael Ott, 4 grandchildren and one on the way; Keajah-Rae, Harold IV, Nekeia, and Dayshuwun. And her rock (her hubbie) Cleophus Reeder. Michelle was a mother, sister, and friend to many others during her life.
She will be truly missed. Rest in peace on the EAST side.
