Robert Jerome Pease, born on April 28, 1936, in Denver, Colorado, was deeply rooted in his Colorado heritage. His upbringing in Denver included education at St. Philomena's grade school and graduated from Regis High school. He pursued higher education at the Colorado School of Mines, where he studied Physics, and later attained his M.S. from the University of Colorado Boulder.
A proud fourth-generation Coloradan, Robert had a familial legacy of public service. His great-grandfather, George E.H. Pease, played a significant role in framing the Colorado Constitution, while his father, George A. Pease, served as an administrative assistant for the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Throughout his life, Robert shared his passion for knowledge as an educator. He taught in various institutions, including Paonia in Delta County, Holy Family Catholic School in Denver, Front Range Community College, Regis University, and even abroad in Honduras, Central America; and Australia.
Beyond academia, Robert had a profound love for music, playing multiple instruments and considering jazz a form of prayer. He was also a talented artist, showcasing his works at exhibitions, such as those held at the Art Depot in Littleton, CO.
Robert's life took on a new dimension when he married Anne Hatcher. Together, they cherished their time and shared experiences until health challenges hindered their travels.
Robert Jerome Pease is survived by his beloved wife Anne, and a host other relatives, and friends who will deeply miss him. His contributions to education, music, and art have left a lasting impact on those whose lives he touched.
