Robert Westley Sanborn Jr., 51 of Denver, CO {originally of Manchester, CT} passed away peacefully on September 8th after a brief yet courageous battle against cancer (Bob prepared this obituary himself several weeks before his death). Robert was predeceased by his parents Robert W Sanborn Sr. and Mary Jacques Kirko. He is survived by his son Robert Westley Sanborn III of Manchester CT; sister Debora Roy of Manchester CT; brother George Sanborn of Charlotte NC; three nephews - Scott Roy of Manchester, CT, Christopher Sanborn of Florida, and George W Sanborn II of Windsor, CT; two nieces - Melissa Roy of Manchester, CT and Jessica Sanborn of Windsor, CT; and his three closest friends and caregivers whose unconditional love and support were tantamount to his graceful and peaceful transition - Anthony Vigil, Gregory Bogdan and Tilden Nordholm of Denver, CO.
