Shands Shearer Tramblie, 80, died July 1, 2026. Born June 26, 1946, in Panama, she entered the world in the Panama Canal Zone, born to Frank and Iris Bradler while her father was between military stations. She later made her home in Lakewood, Colorado.
For many years, Shands worked as an accountant, bringing steadiness and care to her work and to those who relied on her. Her life reflected a grounded sense of responsibility, paired with a spirit that remained unmistakably her own.
Shands took particular pride in reaching 80 years old, meeting that milestone with the same spunk that marked her days. Above all, she was a grandmother in the fullest sense—deeply devoted, present, and delighted by the lives of her grandchildren, who were a constant source of joy. In her later years especially, her loving nature shone with quiet strength and tenderness.
She is survived by her daughter, Shearer; grandchildren, Josh, Derek, Tiara, Jessica, Justin, Samantha; bonus grandsons, Richard and Johnny; and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Denny.
