Dear Mr. & Mrs.Tighe, 

Deeply saddened, and sorry for the loss of 
your cherished daughter Angela.  Angie was my South Windsor neighborhood girlfriend, where we walked together to grade school,  bussed to high school then to the University of Windsor. I will hold years of friendship memories, and laughter; the sleepovers, and the swims in your backyard pool. Most all of my memories of Angie also include mom Betty and father Terry who always warmly welcomed me into their home with kindness.  You are the reason for Angie's lovely temperament and friendliness. I send my deepest sympathies to you both,  and to all the Tighe & Buckner families  Angie was respected and cherished enjoying a charmed life well-lived.

Angie was a gracious host teacher when I was completing my teacher practicum at SES.  She truly cared for her students and colleagues, and was always patient and considerate in sharing her expertise.  I am grateful for all I learned from her during that time.  My deepest sympathy.

Aunt Angie brought love, warmth and joy to all those around her. She truly had the biggest heart and her generosity knew no bounds. We were so fortunate to have lived in the same neighborhood as Aunt Angie in the last year, sharing our lives with her and especially the first year of our son’s life with her.

Our world will never be the same without her - this was an unimaginable loss. We will remember her as a wonderful aunt, Godmother, great aunt and friend, who always had an open door and a seat at the table for her friends and family. On top of that we will also remember her as an avid foodie, undefeated Big Brother pool winner and the queen of Christmas.

Angie was a beautiful friend, colleague, and educator. I had the privilege of working with Angie for several years at FFM. She was an amazing teacher and mentor. We were all blessed to work with her and her students were lucky to have her as their teacher. 

I always loved talking to Angie. She would ask about my family and I loved hearing about her own. Her husband, children and grandchildren meant the world to her. My heartfelt condolences to all of you during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I cannot imagine the depth of this loss for the entire family; all of our hearts are broken and will never be the same. We will never forget Angie and will cherish the fond memories from the many Tighe family reunions we had during our youth together. Angie was truly one of a kind. She was a vibrant positive soul who embraced life. During my time at FFM we worked together as primary teachers and divisional chairs. We also shared many lunches/chats in our staff room and the hallways of FFM. I will cherish the memories of our talks/hikes/dinners. Although I retired from FFM 6 years ago, we still kept in touch and met regularly for dinner. She loved to share student accomplishments and of course stories of her precious children and grandchildren. 
Angie was a compassionate caring woman who truly listened. I shall miss her wisdom, laughter and joy she brought everywhere she went. What a beautiful life she lived. Please accept my heartfelt condolence.

Our kindergarten team at FFM has truly experienced a tremendous loss. Angie was a passionate and hard-working teacher who truly loved working with children. She was an adoring grandmother who lit up when talking about her grandchildren. She was youthful, vibrant, well-liked, and respected. Dearest Angie, 
There are no words. A beautiful person inside and out lost too soon. 
I worked with Angie at FFM for 6 years. I was the grade 8 teacher and she was the kindergarten teacher. So how did we become so close and friends? It’s because anyone who spoke to Angie became a part of her life. She talked to you like she truly knew you forever. Asked questions and truly wanted to know the answer. She mentored me in so many ways. As a mother, a teacher and friend. 
From our lunchtime conversations in the staffroom, to our meetings in the hall, Angie truly was like no other. It’s was guaranteed you would laugh. The odd time she needed help with tech,  I was her go to tech person as she would come up to the intermediate hall to ask for help.  I would drop what I was doing because it was Angie. Angie was so dedicated to everything she did. Such a positive light for her students and her colleagues. 
She spoke of her grandkids with such joy and always the biggest smile. We bonded over exchanging stories as my children were the same age as her grandkids. Once I left the school she would check in with me, and I even got to see her in December at my new school where she watched her grandson’s Christmas concert with the biggest smile on her face. 
To her husband, children and grandkids. I am so sorry for this unexplained loss, for what you are going through and will go through.

It was an absolute privilege to have worked alongside Angie for many years, especially as Grade 1 teachers. I always admired her dedication and passion.  Her gift as a teacher will always remain in the children she helped shape as they began their journey through our school. Most notably her skill to teach children how to read, which I am certain, was a result of her instincts as a mother.  She was and still is the best of us.

Angie was an outstanding person. She was the voice of reason and with her intelligence, grace and good humour, always managed to ‘make it real’. She was always ready to take on new projects and it was an absolute delight collaborating with her. A skilled, thoughtful and compassionate teacher, I learned so much from watching Angie with her students. Angie, I will forever cherish the memories of the joyful times working with you.

Angie and I have been colleagues and friends for many years and teaching partners in both Grade One and Kindergarten for nearly a decade. I will treasure our many memories working closely to together; planning Christmas concerts, working as divisional leads, running the Arts & Crafts Club, and all of the laughter during our daily 3:30 debriefings. Angie was a mentor and amazingly dedicated educator. She took such pride in her students and classroom happenings. All children who have had the opportunity to learn and grow with her have been truly blessed, as have all of us who have been able to watch her flourish in the profession at which she was so devoted and skilled.

Mrs. Buchner was our children's kindergarten teacher over the past four years at Father Frederick McGinn. Sending our daughter and then son off into her care each day was a pleasure as she was so kind and patient. She loved them like they were her own children! We were so blessed to have her in our lives and our children's lives even for such a short time. She helped this mom send her children off into the world and supported me every day. We will miss her so much! Our hearts are broken to hear this news. We are grateful that we got to have her in our lives even if just for a short time. Rest in peace, Angie. We are so heartbroken to hear about passing of Mrs. Buchner. She was our JK/SK teacher for 3 of our kids at Father Frederick School. She was an amazing teacher and person - so loving and kind, passionate about kids development, and always in good spirits, you could not wish for more ❤️ We were so lucky to have her as important part of our kids lives.  During a year of  her sick leave we were asking other teachers in school how she was doing, waiting for the day she will come back to school hoping we can see her again. One of my favourite memories with Angie was when we took an introductory canoeing course at Lake St. George. We learned how to paddle and get in and out of a canoe properly. We even had to complete a test at the end of it and passed! We had a blast. Angie and I were also hiking buddies.
