Passed away unexpectedly at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Wednesday October 12th, 2016 in her 88th year.
Anita is survived by the joy of her life her beloved husband, Bruce. Dearly loved mother of Graham and wife Kimberly, Janet and husband Richard, Anne and husband Mark. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Adrienne, Andrew, Matthew, Sarah, Tyler and Derek. Also survived by her brother Ian Matthews.
We will miss her kindness, her gentleness, her incredible generosity, her infectious humor and her endless curiosity about the world.
Visitation will be held on Monday October 17, 2016 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, at the Thompson Funeral Home (530 Industrial Parkway South), Aurora,
where a funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her honor to Doctors without Borders or the Canadian Red Cross.
