What a blessing for a first year teacher to get to share a classroom with Mrs. Beatty.
She had a profound impact on my teaching career and the lives of so many staff and students at A.H.P.S.

Mrs. Beatty was always the life of the party and a vital member of the Aurora Heights community.

Mrs. Beatty was one of my favourite teachers. I was just thinking about her recently. My condolences to the family. She has certainly left a profound impression with me that I will forever be grateful for.

Our  sincere condolences to all of the Beatty family.  Barb was very intelligent, kind and such a lovely person with a beautiful smile! She was like a second Mom to me as well as a dear friend and colleague.  Barb loved her family very much and was always proud of her sons and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  I will miss our visits and chats on the phone.  Barb, you are reunited now  with the love of your life, Doug.  Rest in peace  dear friend.  I will miss you very much!

I am so sorry for your loss. As Bob stated I also remember those as the best times when she was my second Mom. I would be there or he would be at my house. You are my brother and my heart goes out to you, Lois and your family.

I am so sad to find out that this beautiful woman has passed but she is now with her beloved husband. I only met her the last 2 days of her life as she was in the same hospital room with my mother. I found out that Barbara was a Beatty which was fascinating as my mother's family are Beattys from N.Ireland.  Barbara on these last days here, she had this glow in her eyes. She wasn't afraid to go but happy she said. She looked like she just couldn't wait. You will be missed and thought of Mrs Beatty

My sincere condolences of the passing of your mom. It has been a long time, however your Mom was always so kind and nice. Very respected at the church and as a teacher.

Dad and I drove passed your childhood home on Sunday and we were wondering where, and how your mom was.

Hold all to all the wonderful and memories that you have. It is a very difficult time.

I met Aunt Barbara a few times while visiting Vera and Floyd.  I know she was a much loved Aunt of my BIL Brian Babcock.  My deepest condolences to her family and friends.   Cheryl Lemieux and Family.

Our family has many fond memories of vists from Aunt Barbie and Uncle Doug.  

I know Brian has lots of great memories of being with all the cousins, when they were younger. 

Lots of summer gatherings in Wilton around the table, with plenty of food, especially fresh corn and tomatoes from Floyd's garden and March birthday get-togethers! 

And Barb, Mary and Vera, sisters visits (and some with brother Bud) with laughter till the tears flowed.  

Barb was so proud of the family that she and Doug created and always kept in touch with letters and phone calls that would last an hour or often, two!  

She will always hold a special place in our hearts and will be missed. ❤️

Mom
I cant recall how many times I opened the door and yelled" Hi Mom , bye Mom!"  You would ask after me, " Where are you going?" My response was pretty much always "Just outside to play". Those were, and still are the very best of times.
