Bernice Pearl Lewis

died peacefully on September 9, 2011 at Southlake Regional Hospital in Newmarket. She was 82. She is survived by her son, David Lewis and daughter, Catherine Lewis and grandson, Daniel Lewis, as well as her brother Bertram Arnold and two late brothers, Ralph and Lorne Arnold. Bernice was a loving mother and grandmother. She was also very kind and giving to those in need and for many years volunteered at the local churches in Aurora for their rummage sales. She had a keen eye for style and also a good bargain. Bernice was also a very talented artist and used pen & ink and watercolors to create beautiful pictures of birds and nature. As she loved animals and faithfully supported the local Humane Society, in lieu of flowers, she would want donations to be made to them. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place.
