Wendy, Beth and Amy,  Brent was a wonderful man.  I fondly remember my first "smash" with BT at the cottage and playing board games with your family late into the night.  I will think of him whenever we play T-ed off.  I so sorry for your loss, but so happy to have known your husband and dad

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Brent's passing. I go back to the Thornhill days and Fisher Sports. I taught his brother  Bill's sons at Thornhill Secondary School. I played hockey both with and against Brent. It was always a joy to meet up with him here in Aurora. He was such a fine man to know and always great to be around. I shall miss him. My thoughts are with the Fisher family.

Hi girls, family and friends of Brent, 

I mentioned this metaphor to Red already but I kind of liked it: when I think of the Fisher family, I consider the focus of their home/cottage to be the fridge. Not for food but for the display of photos that always captured the life and memories, past and present, of the family. I couldn't help but think of each member of the family as their own fridge, holding onto the images and memories that their loved ones place around them. When someone like Brent is taken from our experience so suddenly, the photos must fall to the ground, to be recollected, sorted and cherished by those they loved. I know a photo or a memory would gladly be traded for more time with those we love, but I hope the quality and the quantity of the shared memories can at least attest to the quality of the man and the richness of the time spent together. My memories of having a business in Thornhill just two stores away from Fisher Sports will remain with me forever...Some days i spent more time talking with Brent and Bill in their store than i did working in my business. Brent always had time to help me with my questions about new hockey equipment and helped fit my family with all hockey apparel.My sincere conolences to the family for the loss of A REAL TRUE GENTELMAN....Al
