The sad news only reached us recently. We fondly remember our Uncle Chris as do our husbands, children and our mother (his sister) Chariclia. She often recounts stories of their childhood in Greece and inquired about his health and wellbeing regularly. We appreciated and sought his kind words and insights and wished we could have spent more time with him - he marked our lives. Our thoughts extend to his wife, Anna, and to our cousins Peter, Frances and Penny as well as their families.
With our deepest condolences,
Chariclia (Antoniou) Goulian, Jacqueline Masella, Caroline Goulian and families

Theo Christo was our "far-away" uncle whom we had a great admiration and love for whilst growing up as children in Durban. Our mother, who was his youngest sister, always spoke of him with such respect and we grew up knowing he was not only a man of intellectual capacity but someone who had a deep love of his family .His love of his kind and caring wife and indeed his love of his three children. And also his love of his sisters.
Whilst we were not able to get to know him better unfortunately , and only having had the privilege of meeting him together with Thea Anna and Francis,Penny and Peter only once - it remains a memory firmly imprinted in my mind with much love and affection.
Thea Anna, Francis, Penny and Peter please accept our sincere condolences .
May his soul rest in peace. And may the Grace and Spirit of Jesus Christ be with you all now during your grief and into eternity.
Our prayers go with you.

With love

Dear Anna,

my deepest sympathy to you, your children and grandchildren. Chris was so proud of all of you and Anna, although Chris was quiet, soft-spoken and quite private, he never hesitated to talk about your beauty and what a wonderful wife you were. As you know, I worked with and for Chris for many, many years at the Toronto Board & I can honestly say that it was a joy and a privilege to work with him and to know him. My Greek improved because of him & I will always treasure those memories of the "good old days".

Chris was brilliant and what a storyteller - we could listen to him for hours because he was so interesting, but he was also kind, genuine, caring, sensitive, so logical and a great thinker. He was so good at what he did! The world is a sadder place today but he will never be forgotten. May he rest in peace.

Dear Anna and family:
I was hired by Chris as a school social worker in the mid 1980's and I worked for him for many years. He was not only an astute observer of people but also very caring and empathic to those most vulnerable in our society. I repected him and valued his opinion. I am very sad to know that he has gone but please know that he had a profound effect on many people and he will always be remembered with great affection.
Yours Sincerely,
Cindy Blakely
