Conrad "Connie" Dutschek

Passed away at Eagle Terrace, Newmarket, ON on Sun, Feb 19, 2017 at the age of 90 years. He was a beloved and devoted husband to Helen, his wife of 69 years and loved by his children Ann Marie Kocela (Jerry), John Dutschek (Eileen), Michael Dutschek (Sandra), Conrad Dutschek. (Cathy), and Karen Fiorini (Orlando). Papa will be forever remembered by his 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He will be missed by his sister-in-law Ann Summers and his brother-in-law Steve Summers. Conrad was a good man who deeply loved his family, and was always described as a true gentleman by his caregivers. A special thank you to Dr. E. Palermo, Dr. A. Kassam, Shondra, Liz, and the palliative team at Eagle Terrace for all their efforts and warm hearts when it was most needed. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. at the Thompson Funeral Home (530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora) A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Grace Church (15347 Yonge St. Aurora) on Friday at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or Heart & Stroke Foundation.
