It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Darko Komunjar on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of 42 years to Rosemary, loving father to Edward and Katie (Rob) and very proud Grandpa to Colbie. Darko was eagerly anticipating the arrival of his first Grandson, due in January.
Darko will be missed by many friends and family, both in Canada and back home in Slovenia. He is survived by his Mother, Maria, Brothers; Silvo (Anna) & Slavko and adored Nephews Alaz & Blaz, in Europe.
A visitation for Darko will be held Friday, November 29, 2024 from 10:30 am to 12:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON L4G6W8.
Following the visitation there will be a Funeral Mass at 1: p.m. at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15347 Yonge St, Aurora, ON L4G 1N7
