Debbie Duncan passed away suddenly on February 5, 2026 In Scarborough, at the age of 57. She was born on March 24, 1968, and spent her final moments surrounded by love, with her mom, children and her partner Jeff by her side.
Debbie’s life included many challenges, and she lived for many years with mental illness. Through these struggles, she showed resilience and strength, and she remained deeply connected to the people she loved.
She was a loving mother to her daughter Jennifer (Lucas) and son Sean, who were the center of her world. She was also a cherished sister to her younger sister Wendy (Martin) and older brother David (Nathalie). She will be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Debbie had a deep love for genealogy and took great joy in learning about her family’s history and preserving those stories for future generations. Music was another passion that brought her comfort and happiness.
Debbie was a talented sketcher and artist, finding joy and expression in drawing. Some of her most treasured moments were spent at the family cottage, where she found peace and connection with loved ones.
Debbie will be remembered for her warmth, her curiosity about the past, her love of frogs. She leaves behind a legacy of love and connection that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
