Gonna miss you you will cross my mind for the rest of my life thanks for everything you taught me about the fishing game and the bush the laughs and great times behind the wheel rally racing the best cheif there was . Dear Uncle Frank and cousins Rocco, Anthony and Linda.  I am so saddened by this news. Dino's life was very challenging and the impact was felt profoundly by those around him.  I pray that he has now found the peace that he was not able to find in this life. 

My favourite memory of Dino is when he was a young child.  We were visiting at Zia Gina and Zio Frank's house. Dino came and asked me for a glass of water. I said "Can you  say that in Italian"? I'll never forget that beautiful 3-year-old's smile when he looked up at me and said "Can I have a glass of water in Italian"?  I reminded him of that precious moment for many years after that.

Dino was my stepdad since I was 8 years old. I was there for all of his ups and downs. I will never forget the good years when we would go and visit and he was well- he was such a good storyteller, life of the party, wanted to feed everyone. He loved music and talking about when he was in a band as a kid. He was the best cook. I still use his recipes and methods for certain foods. I remember he pulled dandelion leaves from the yard one day and made a delicious salad- he was always surprising us with the things he knew. He could build you anything you asked for with very little tools. He was kind and generous and helped me get my first car. He fixed many things in my house.  Holidays were hard for him because he was away from his family, especially missed his mom, but he tried hard to come to Christmas dinner for me. He met and befriended a lot of people up here in the Soo who will remember him the same way. Thank you for everything Dino, I know you did the best you could. Rest in peace. 

Dino  your heart was full of love and although your life had difficult challenges I will always remember you as a kind hearted person Who was content with the simple things in life ,you always had good intentions but your struggles made it difficult , may you finally get the peace you deserve now ,and until we meet again my friend we love you Rest In Peace
