Cathy, Matt, Charlene -
Doug was a great personality who I will always have the upmost respect for. I have truly enjoyed working with Doug over the past 18 years, during this time his knowledge and incite have influenced me greatly. Doug was always good for a storey or two! Many of which came from one of his work trips to Atlantic Canada or Oregon. Doug was also very much a family man and there wasn't a day when he didn't mentioned how proud he was of each of you and his grandchildren. Most of all I consider Doug a good friend and he will be deeply missed!

Cathy, Charlene, Matthew; All these years working with Doug have etched many positive memories for me. There was no task he wouldn't do and always with a pleasant and positive demeanor.
I know no one who ever was cross with him and he often had many balls to juggle.
I'll miss him greatly.

It is with a saddened heart that I write this note. We shared some good times together, camping and Christmas functions with the family. I hope Jim and Doug are sharing some great stories, comparing notes about their precious grandchildren. We are all left here with great memories.

My deepest sympathy to Cathy, Charlene, Matt and family. Doug was a great friend and neighbour in Oak Ridges. I can still picture Doug and his big slippers with the words Blue on them. Funny enough that is what he called his dog.
